About Us

Springfield Little League (SLL), located in Montgomery County PA, provides a safe and fun environment for players (ages 4-16) to play youth baseball.  SLL is an all volunteer organization chartered by Pennsylvania Little League® International - District 22. We offer all players an opportunity to fall in love with baseball during the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter seasons.

History

On January 2021, Flourtown-Erdenheim Little League (FELL) and Oreland-Wyndmoor Little League (OWLL) merged to create a top youth baseball program in the Flourtown/Oreland PA area. Both organizations had a combined history of over 50 years in youth baseball. Occasionally, you will still see someone wearing FELL or OWLL apparel while catching a game or two at either Bysher or Marlow fields.

Mission

SLL aspires to teach children the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

To achieve this, SLL strives to ensure that every player:

• Is coached using the principles of Little League Baseball
• Has fun playing the game
• Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
• Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field
• Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player.
